impspy, are you trying to replace the shipped imp.lvl? If so then the reason why your unit isn't showing up is because the shipped mission.lvl doesn't call for imp_com_stormtrooper on Coruscant. If this isn't the case, then explain how did you add the unit to Coruscant conquest. Were you ever able to successfully munge and create a .lvl file of any sort? When did your munging problem start occuring? It probably is a Windows Vista problem.

I thought i could do it by editing the assets script in the modding tools. and no the munge never did create a lvl file of any sort.

When i first started. And knowing vista, its probly right.

"\common was unexpected at this time"

Well, I know Vista does have problems with some programs out there, but let's not be so hasty to point fingers. I have Vista and it all works for me; making units and everything. Chances are you should check out that shipped mission.lvl for coruscant.

Also, here's a troubleshooter to run through: make a new, blank map and attempt to add the unit and his side into it. See if that works. If it does, then the problem is not with your unit or his side. If it doesn't, and you set it up correctly, then the problem is in the side, not the LUA.

That should narrow it down a bit.

I just figured out a solution to that problem, but I didn't get any response as to whether or not it is wise to do what I did. Check this topic: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=15662

Umm, did you even read my post? Why did you even tell us that? Your computer obviously has a problem, and I posted a possible fix, what more do you want?
