Modding Tutorial

I was just wondering if anyone had considered writing out a "Layman's Guide to Modifying Star Wars: Battlefront" yet? Like a complete, step-by-step guide to how to create a battlefield of your choosing?!

I know that the Mod Tools provide information and everything, but they really don't provide a step-by-step and it is a bit technical for most people. I'm a programmer, so I get most of it. But there is more stuff coming out everyday! And Fred seems to help provide that info, as well as others on here.

If no one has considered this task, could we possibly start a category for it and start putting one together? Just asking... TIA

there are lots of tutorials already, here and at http://forums.lucasarts.com/forum.jspa?forumID=42 (the LucasArts Battlefront Mod board) - look for the Ask Eddie thread, he covers pretty much everything you need to know to get going there. If you want to ask about any specific questions, there are folk here who will help you out. Even better, if you'd like to get involved with the community and if you have time to help out and collate all the info into one post... :)

Oops.... hehehe... I didn't see that one on the LA forums... Well, I did, but it is mostly individual questions and answers. What I am actually talking about is a beginner's walk-through of how to create a good first mod. All of those things I have seen have been just broken bits and pieces of info. Nothing pooled together.

I would be happy to work with some people to make a thread that does what I am talking about, sure! Everything, including graphics to help assist in the development of their first mod!

And remember... If GameToast just happens to be one of the first places to have a great, graphic-based tutorial... Well... Think of the exposure...

Thanks for answering.
