No, it's not possible. 5 units per side is hard coded. If you can prove wrong then show me. There has only ever been one screenshot that showed more than five units, and that was confirmed to be a shot from during the development of the game.

basicly put more than one unit on a slot


get that version and play and you will see what i mean
i think he used scripting to change odfs or something like that

I see how he's doing it. It's a hack. Doing that way will break multiplayer, as well as causing some other instabilities. It's not something anybody here would know much about. There's a total of 3 people or so that still edit SWBF1.

Yeah, it's a hack. You can do that, but as Teancum said, it breaks multiplayer.

As far as I know, that's the only way to do it. I managed to figure out how he did it, but that author (napseeker) is famous among us at macxgamers for doing things with the SWBF1 engine nobody has done before.
