Is it possible to do this?

Hey I am asking modders but can you make bf2 to have it were you can pick up weapons. Or make the game play like halo call of duty or so? I know you can do alot of things with bf2 but is this one of them. I know renegade squadron 2 is coming out but still will won't destroy the game toast community and has haloish game play except for the picking up weapon part. Even though Imo it would be weird for a battle droid to pick up a clones blaster rifle. Even though I have seen in the clone wars a droid as clone disguise. So maybe it won't be weird. So my point is can you make it were you can pick up other weapons for your opponents or scavenge any other weapons during game play. Its too bad I quit bf2 for this reason please make it better for me and fellow gamers.

If you are talking about Battlefront 2 (which I'm assuming you are) you posted in the wrong subforum. This belongs in BF2 Modding. But I'll answer your question. Since BF2 is class based, all the weapons are the same for each class. So if you picked up a weapon, it wouldn't be picked up until you died and respawned, but it would also be a weapon for the rest of that class. So it is possible (I believe) but it would be so glitchy that it really isn't worth it

Bottom line is it's possible, but is much more complex than games that already do this. Advanced coders can do it, but even then it has limitations. You're still limited to four primary weapons and four secondary - there's no Jedi Academy-style weaponry, with 10 total.

Actually thank you marvinmitchell gametoast should do that with all maps like make a patch to do that

OFFTOPIC: Something always bugs me when people spell other's name's wrong, especially Maveritchell's
On-Topic: This should have gone in the SWBF Modding section.. Plus patching the game to do that would ruin the whole games online compatibility...
