I only have 1 question in picking which game to mod, Can you import models to use as buildings ("Props") into JA's GtkRadiant?
Yup

the thing about making map objects (.md3 models in maps) is that using too many of them can make lag, its best to just map everything out and only model the complex things, cause collisions will be far from perfect on md3's since JA doesnt have a collision system, it just makes a big bounding box around all its models.

but you can just not use the models collision and use your own brush collision in radiant

eh forget JA, its old and in the past, source would be the best option, something you could really get creative with.

Yeah, but there's already tons of source sites. What we really need is a game that's still played, but not covered as well as it should be in modding terms. That way we become the new source for that.

Here's a few but I'm not sure if all are for PC/Console.
Area 51 (by Midway), Perfect Dark Zero, Aliens Vs Predator 2, Republic Commando, Ghost Master (if anyone knows what it is)
I can't think of anything right now besides Shooters and that Ghostly Stragety game.
When Halo 2 Vista comes out it will be a great addition to the site.
Teancum do know halomaps.org?
It's a site dedicated entirely to Halo Custom Edition maps and I'm sure modders will take great advantage of Halo 2 Vista as soon as it is launched.
I'm sure you could easily form a union with the HaloMaps.org Staff but in case they might contain a few members with nasty breathes and arrogance thinking that underrated games like BF2 might not satisfy them and treat them like "not Halo standard". Every "popular" game will have forums with its own "morons" just so you know.

well most of those games you mentioned are not on PC and the ones that are dont even have much modding options, source still owns them all by a long shot, only one you can truly make anything for.

Ghost Master (if anyone knows what it is)
Ghost Master FTW! That game rocks!
SWBF2 only dies if you let it, play it more! CoD 1 mods, would be great it may be old but theres still tons of people playing it. Theres a lot of modern weapon mods for it already, but maybe a civil war mod? It'd be an interesting change of pace.

I love you too. And, in case you haven't noticed, I call pretty much everyone kid (Even though I'm only 15

)
Postulio, you know that's not true. SWBF 2
can die, and I'm pretty sure it's already started to. And somebody made a Civil War mod for Battlefield Vietnam. Very much fun.
