Yeah, hop on over to FilePlanet, it's on the front page. I just finished playing, and I'll be buying it when it comes out. That's how good it is.

Took my time getting a copy of Republic Commando and now I got it I'm happy I did. The game's quite scripted but it's quite a unique game format from what I'm used to playing.
Multiplayer's not bad either. Just hope a few new weapon and map mods come out.

#1 Is anyone still playing Republic Commando?
#2 What happened to Gametoast's RC modding threads? (possibly answered in question #1)

#1 yes, most ppl that have the game still do
#2 due to lack of ppl using those forums, it has been changed to the SWBF II forums

Strange : The
Star Wars Republic Commando's dedicated forums were published, then removed, then re-published to be re-deleted...

there still IS a small modding community for SWRC, if you want all your mod-maps, head over to
http://hosted.filefront.com/arramus all the maps produced by the
Unreal Modding Forums are hosted here, there are some very nice pieces of work here.
Also if you are interrested in modding this game, there are tutorials at
rc.injapan.org.
Here are a few pictures of what can be achieved with the CT Engine:

It's always very helpful to post URLs like that one... I think it'll help sooner or later...
