Oh. Alright, so I gave it a simple texture and tried to export. And I think it worked! Nothing seemed out-of-place with MshEx, and it even showed up on the MSH Viewer! Wow!

But the only problem with the simple cube is that it doesn't show up when you place it in ZE, and this error pops up while munging it:
Hidden/Spoiler:
ERROR[PC_texturemunge msh\nab2_bldg_brick02.tga]:Targa type 10 not currently supported.
ERROR[PC_texturemunge msh\nab2_bldg_brick02.tga]:Targa type 10 not currently supported.
[continuing]
2 Errors 0 Warnings

Strange, cause I copied over nab2_bldg_brick02.tga straight from the Naboo assets. And I'm reasonably sure my Naboo assets aren't corrupted.

EDIT - Hmm, maybe they are corrupt. Remaking the texture with RLE off fixed the problem. Well, so the thing is not how I exported doorwall but how I put it together. The problem may have been merging the three seperate parts into a polymesh, that did confuse me somewhat.

If you made a polymesh, did you make a local copy of your scene material?

As I am new to this, I do not know what you mean by "local copy". I think I selected the three bits and then clicked "merge" or something along those lines.

Open up the scene explorer ("8" key), look at your polymesh. Open up its hierarchy; one of the things in there should be something that says "scene material...number" (or something similar). It will probably be italicized. Click it, it will offer the option to make a local copy. Select "yes" and then close any boxes that pop up afterwards.

That doesn't discount that you made a different mistake, but that could be one of them.

I suppose there must be another problem because after doing that and exporting it it still didn't work.

what is the size of your texturemap?
it has to be a power of two such as 512x512

This topic was rather old, and it wasn't getting too many new posts, so I stopped checking it. Then I got MshEx to work, so I can export things now. This can be locked.
