My first CGI animation

I made this in 3d modeling class, using Autodesk 3ds max.

hehe - cool enough :P

I really liked the way you made the lightsaber turned on and off :) As there are tons of creative ways to do so (one might be more advanced than other's)

Just to inspire people, can you give a brief resume of what you did? Maybe scaled it inwards out from the saber? Maybe something else?

Remember, we all think differently, so I'm interested in knowin a good way to do something like that :P

Yeah, mine was pretty simple, I just grabbed the top row of vertices of the blade, and pulled it to the length I wanted.
