What should be in a ship?

Ok, im makeing a ship:
i am just wondering what all i should put in and on it (turrets, control room, ect.) This ship is basicly going to be the map, with a senario like the ship has been borded and bla bla bla. So does anyone have any ideas for rooms or stuff i could add to the ship?

It's your design, there's nothing that "should" or "should not" be there. If you're planning on making a mostly-interior map (especially if it's just the one ship), turrets don't serve any purpose other than novelty, as I would imagine most of the action is inside.
If you're looking for ideas specifically, there are lots of games that have spaceship-interior levels (and who may be viewable on Youtube). Battlefront 2 has a couple of these itself (Death Star, Tantive), and they're worth looking at for inspiration.

You know what would be awesome? Making it reconfigurable! Make it have holes and things for the bridge, hangers, and turrets, but then have the interior components modular, so you can decide which to have in that map.
I love the ship, BTW!

a control room would be good, a shield generator room, barracks, weapon room.
