Eddie's Dantooine - converted by squipple

Version: FINAL

Installation instructions:
1. Download and install the patch if you haven't already. http://support.lucasarts.com/patches/Battlefront2.htm
2. Unzip ED1Final.zip into your "C:\Program FilesLucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\addon" folder. If the addon folder doesn't exist in that location, create it.
3. Now the map will show up in the game in your list under Eddie's Dantooine

About the map:
This is a BF1 map designed by Eddie. A great sniping map. Features command posts surrounding a large trench, with an island in the middle linked by two bridges.

Heroes:
GCW:Pilot Luke/Darth Vader
CW:Mace Windu/Count Dooku

Map features:
Conquest
1-Flag
2-Flag
Hero Assault
Classic Conquest (if the SWBF1 mappack is installed)

Here's the second in my series of eddie's conversions. Just in time for a little weekend fun.
Includes the standard con, 1flag, 2flag and assault modes.
This ones a snipers playground. Seems to make a better BF2 map than it did a BF1 map, mostly because of the new modes allowing you to travel around and see more of the map.

Known Issues:
- There's a part of the terrain by one of the bridges where if you fall off, you'll fall through the terrain for some reason. You'll eventually die, but it's a pain. I'll probably just throw an object in that area to cover it.
- I need to make a minimap for this one yet
- Please report if you're having vehicle sound issues. I had some issues in multiplayer once, but haven't had them since.

Awesome! all eddie's BF1 maps were so good, and now im happy that they are being converted to BF2. I was a beta tester for those maps, so i guess i will DL this beta.

Yes, Kastel is my next attempt. However, it has about 100 more objects in the map than asre allowed in BF2, so I'm gonna have to probably make some new models for it. Unfortunately, Jai Nollan and Tynna Valley have WAY too many objects in them. I may be albe to crop tynna valley down a bit, but Jai Nollan is pretty much undoable. There's 2239 objects in that map. I'd have to cut the map in half (and more) to get down to the 1041 object limit.

Italia should be final before the weekend's out, I just gotta add a loading screen. And, yes, I'm planning on a "squeddies mappack" (as tean would call it). squipple's maps+eddie's maps+any reusable source objects for all to enjoy using in your own maps.

Anyone Beta testing this one? From the lack of comments I assume this one's pretty solid. I found a few floating items, patched that "hole" in the terrain, added a minimap and a sunset :)
