this is going to be fun to beta. i can tell. Are you adding a good campaign or what? And another thing is, could you try to reskin obi-wan. There is a really detailed one in the assets thread, and I want to see somebody use it. It is overly detailed and stuff. Also, I couldn't help but chuckle when I see Obi-Wan kenobi doing a beta for you. Lol.

Alrighty! Here's the latest update:
-16/20 beta tester spots filled (list of names on first starting post)
-Currently at 64% done, more or less-well, in fact, maybe more (this percentage is updated every week or so on the first post as well)
-Beta will be released within the next 3-4 days.

And directly related to the game:
-2 of 4 CPs have units hopping in ships and taking off. Everything is good with that.
-Actual fighting between fighters can be seen if one looks out a window or forcefield.
-Capship turrets (the big ones) now fire bolts instead of beams. I did this myself, I didn't use the one available at FileFront.
-Animating ships is on its way, but will not be complete until the final release. Some ships will be animated for you to see in the beta.
-Venator interiors are being extended.
-Lightsaber no-damage problem fixed.
-All Jedi/Sith/Magnaguards locked.
-Only available classes at start are base classes.
-Special canon/non-canon anims being made, a canon anim could be seen in the beta.
-I think all weapon tinkering is done, all that's left is the ordnance coming out of the weapons.

About the beta:
-Keycode will be given to beta testers via PM.

anyway, I am excited for the beta! Finally a map that will try and do the battle of coruscant justice! SWEET! It really is a shame the movies weren't working for you! Here is the very planet for you to see. I think of it as the only gift you can actually give on the net...
