Polycount
So I'm feeling really rather sad, as I've completely forgotten how to get a Polycount. I remember that the amount of polygons are the number of triangles times two, but I can't remember what the hotkeys in XSI are for getting components. Sorry for my dumb question, but I've been pushing random combinations that I think could be it, and they haven't worked
.
Thanks for any answer.

Re: Polycount
Actually, I think the poly count is the number of tri's divided by 2.

Re: Polycount
Ah, thanks. I do, however, need to know how to get the window that tells you how many tri's

Re: Polycount
Ctrl+enter = Scene info
Shift+enter = Selection info
Both show # of triangles.

Re: Polycount
Thank you very much, I couldn't for the life of me remember, and searching "triangles" in the Help box, well, wasn't much help.

Re: Polycount
I don't think that's necessarily true... You can have a face that's a triangle, therefore it's not triangulated. Howeer, if you you have quads as faces then yes, 2 tris. but if you have both and the tri's count is lets say 1352 it might be 700 polygons instead of 660ish.Caleb1117 wrote:Actually, I think the poly count is the number of tri's divided by 2.
