Whoa! Good job! How many polys does this sit at?

One suggestion I might make is the upper belt appears to be tilted inverted to the reference. Otherwise this looks great! I don't know if you want to do any other FO soldiers, but are you planning on doing the other versions of this unit? Commander (you'd just have to attach a Sandtrooper pauldron) and the Heavy (the one with the front pack).

Yes i already planed to make a own pauldron, maybe with cloth :D

So i finished the work. At some parts the texture is not 100%, but i'm fine with it.

Next is shadow, lowrez and ingame test.

One question, can i add a hidden lowrez named ..._lowrez (the way it is in DarthDUCKs Tutorial), or do i need to export a lowrez and release two msh files (like all stock units)??

Unit Lowrez's need to be exported seperately and also have to use their own, special skeletion which has less bones.

The shoulder is easy enough to figure out: it's the way it's positioned and the bone it is mapped to. As for the knees... it's difficult to say. The helmet... are you referring to the back of it?

It was an envelope problem. About the helmet, you can see the problem here:

I already modified the UVs as much as i can do, but i think i need to modify the texture.

I'll release this together with the commander and heavy version. So you still need patience :D

Thank you all. I need to tell you that i stopped this. I started a new project and it will take my time. But i released what i have here: viewtopic.php?f=64&t=32065

What is missing?
- specular, bump,
- heavy trooper
- texture improvements (head and addons)
- i have a captain phasma helmet, but no time.

I hope you'll enjoy the things i have done jet anyway
