My 8 year thinks this is the greatest map ever. I think it's because he gets to play one of his favorite parts of the micro series. Or it could just be because the map is so fun. By the way, he managed to win as the jedi before I did

Thanks,
Scott

I can slice my way through the droids but only for a limited time until i just get completely obliterated. Then it's try gain and again and again, anyone who say's they can win with the jedi i'd like to see it with my own eyes. If you have then it's half skill half luck and (another half ????) complete messy slicing and dicing and jumping like a complete prune to make it out of the ship alive.

"Republic is not meant to be playable and thus the CP and landing craft aren't either" - what? this is a game not the actual clone war episode, every avenue every option should be available to the player. Thats what BF2 has over BF1, playable jedi, space fights, cap ships, the more option the merrier

And Aayla Secura wasn't at that battle at all. It was Ki-Adi, Shaak-Ti, Sha'a-Gi, and a few randomers.

All my opinion of course
I'm afraid you are quite mistaken. It is quite easy to win with the Jedi.....of course.....you must realize that they are just that! What do Jedi have? Lightsabers and force powers. You must utilize them correctly to survive and on top of that, the Jedi refill their health 3 times as fast as the Hero Jedi. I won my third time playing without dying once (187 killing spree and 739 kills). How did I accomplish this you ask? Simple, my flawless strategy was to choose the Jedi unit second to last with the double bladed lightsaber and all I used was the saber throw. I cleverly stayed back a safe distance while I allowed my double saber to plow through them and all you gotta do is repeat the process until you win. It's a pretty long procedure but it ensures victory and your survival. It seems to me that you approached the battle wrong by charging into battle...............Jedi ARE NOT invincible and you must first realized that...........afterall, there are over 300 bots on screen at once aiming at you.....lol. Just giving my personal advice.....no harm done, I guarantee this strategy will work if executed properly. I came up with this strategy after realizing I survived a long time by using Ki Adi Mundi's lightsaber throw and a double saber only equals MORE kills per throw since its longer and I realize that since I usually get pwned by Darth Maul...lol.

When I click the link, it goes to savefile, but doesn't load a link for the map, it's like only part of the page is coming up. :x

Try using Firefox or Internet Explorer or Mozilla or Netscape -- one that you don't normally use.

Actually, Aayla Secura was there. Watch carefully the next time.

You don't even have to watch it carefully. She's clearly seen in the cartoon and Ki-Adi even says her name when they're rescued.

yes that was when she was still a padawan I think, anyway since there is a model of her in the map made I will definitely be inlcluding her in the map.

Very well done to you then. But this further elaborates my point. I understand where your coming from because I tried to capture one of the cp's in the same fashion. Strafeing out from behind a corner, throwing my sabre then hiding back behind the corner to let m health recharge. However this is not fun, u said yourself it's pretty long procedure. This is bad gameplay, that you can only win by performing such a repetetive action over and over again. Wheres the exploration of the rest of the map? Wheres the utilisation of all the jedi moves? And I still say that the clones and the Landing Craft should be playable at to add more dimensions to the level/gamepley

My two cents replying to that post:

1-If the Clones are playable, he'd have to remove some jedi
2-I never had any trouble exploring the map, but the point isn't really to do that anyways. You're supposed to be trapped.

SBF_Dann_Boeing, I just love the idea of this map! I love the Clone Wars Cartoon Series very much, so the idea of making something like it is a fantastic idea. But, like everyone else has said, I think the crash site should be A LOT larger. It would make it cool to duck and hide behind things ala the actual Clone Wars cartoon. I think that would probably help you to stay alive a lot longer as well. Rather than fighting for a few seconds, then getting killed. Plus, maybe General Grievous could jump up to the top of the reckage, and then suprisingly jump down to his prey. And oh, the Republic Gunship! Definitely a must have to get that tricked out paint job. Or like they called it on the dvd, the Rancor face. I love that paint job on the Gunship. I wish people would put that into the game more often. The idea of at least being able to be one Clone Trooper is also a good idea. I know you may have to get rid of a Jedi to do so, but I still like having the option. Maybe the head red ARC Trooper could be added somehow.

And lastly, and I don't know if you want me to do this, but I could record the music themes from the Clone Wars Cartoon straight off of both dvd's. Both volumes ofcourse! They would be in wave format, so I don't know if that might be a problem. But if it's something you want I wouldn't mind contributing them to you. Maybe you already thought of this as well. Later
