LucasArts is pretty good at getting all the ports out on the same date. The only exception being Battlefront III/ES, but the main ports were never released, so it's whatever.

In fact, the only cases I've heard where the PC ports were released later than the actual game are Halo and Halo 2.

X-Men Legends, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions are a few more.

Okay, so Marvel's pretty bad about it, too :p

Either way, I'm pretty sure the release date has been the same across the ports on most recent LucasArts games.

Well, except for TFU, which never really got a pc release until the Ultimate Sith Edition. So, I was surprised that the pc port was being released the same day as TFU2, seeing as TFU didn't...

I can't wait to get it. It looks great and I think everybody can complain all they want, it still looks like it will have a GREAT story line. I love the first tfu for that reason. I also enjoy beating the stuffing out of stormies, but so does everybody else. I normally don't get excited about video games, but this is an exception...well that and (if ever) battlefront III. The leaked video looked like the best game ever!!!

According to their Facebook page, they're releasing a demo on Tuesday, Octber 12th. Didn't say if it was downloadable off of XBL and/or if it was hosted on their website for PC, but hey, its something...

I saw a short blurb on starwars.com, and I believe it said the demo would be available for Xbox and PS3.

Edit: That was one heck of a trailer.

There was something I really didn't like about how the gameplay segments look, but I can't put my finger on it. I'm not really worried, i'm sure it will be a good game.

They seemed REALLY jumpy to me, not as in laging, but going from in the middle of the air 10 ft. away from someone to cutting them with a light saber while holding onto them

Man, now I really want to get this game! I've watched the trailer like five times cuz its epic. It all looks so realistic, even Yoda. But what the heck, Zombie Jedi? lol

I reckon if their not going to make TFU 3, they should make an alternative game about Boba Fett but then I would say that, as I'm a fanboy.

I never understand all the love for Boba Fett, he was defeated by a blind man with a stick and made a girly scream as he flew off into the side of the barge.

Looking at this game again, I probably won't get it. Maybe if I'm really bored/hit the new max rank in Reach I will, but it really doesn't interest me anymore.

It's a rent-n-beat for me. I'm sure I'll enjoy a playthrough, but unless it goes on Games On Demand for cheap down the road it's not a buy.
