Please include more information when posting, saying it "crashes" gives us 1,000,001 possible problems. I am not sure if it's the cause of the problem but giving us your script would be a useful start.

Okay, 1st off explain what happened from the making of the script up to the game crashing
also, get modtools.exe, out of the /C:Modtools, put it in the starwars battlefront 2 gamedata folder, and run the game from that, there should be a BFront2.text from when you started the game with the modtools.exe. look through it post what's in it IN A SPOILER so we can see through it... Other than than that I have no ideal how to help you. sorry

Are you talking about a .lua? an .odf? a .req? a .ter? a .wld?
All of these things can be opened with notepad.
And you lost starwars battlefront II? interesting. perhaps you should reinstall it if you really did fry it, say by deleting the Data folder...

It was ABC_con and ABC_con.lua. I changed it to read the hoth scripts with the ReadDataFile part and when bf2 loads, it crashes every time, even after I deleted ABC!
