Just got done playing conquest, 1-flag and 2-flag.
Wow is 1-flag fun..even just playing with AI! It's so tough even getting it to the ramp much less getting it up to the top and in the goal. Very nice. I'd really like to see the same or similar setup for 2 flag. 2 flag fell really flat for me. You're just running in a straight line across the map. Even without spawning as a hero it was pretty easy.
- I'm still seeing that white fringe around the floors of the elevated docks. Does anyone else see that?
- Did the terrain get darker? It seems a little too dark.
- The spawn map is off quite a bit. Spawn points look like they're out in the water, and goals look like they're out by the island.
- I also noticed there are no shadows on anything, including units.

Here's a comparison to the BF1 map that also shows that white fringe.

The lighting is really dark but it's still nice to play the old level again. :)

Same for me, fantastic map, great fun, but it's quite dark.

I did darken it. It look right on my machine but based on your pictures it is too dark. Can some other people tell me if it should be lightened. It is a very simple fix and I can release a 1.1.

Spawn map was like that in the original I think . It does not reflect the top pier for some reason. Or am I wrong.

I really like this map and thought we caught all this in BETA but we did not.

So here is what I want to know?

Should I change the following
1. Make ligher
2. Add directional Light
3. Change CTF 2 Flag. - To what?

I agree, I like it too. You've done a fine job.
The spawn map points look proper in conquest like the original, yes. It's in the CTF modes where they're off. As well ae the goal indicator (throbbing yellow circle). I didn't look at Assault, but you may want to check that one too.
IMO, I wouldn't mind seeing 2-flag set up the same way 1-flag is. Put the goals&flags in the same place the goals are on 1-flag. Anyone else have ideas?

Can you please release it on savefile? My PC still can't view filefront. BTW, your level looks awesome.

does that mean it's become lighter? Because if you are releasing a new version and it'n not too hard, it would be nice if it could be a bit lighter. Great map though.

Okay here is the update.

I spent alot of time trading IM's with teancum and he helped identify some of the items that he felt could be improved. I will be taking some if not all of his advice and making some changes. SInce I have 2 -4 more maps to release and get to a professional level I would like a few testers so I do not keep releaseing different versions. Please PM me if you have time to seriously debug some maps and provide written feedback.

The problem with the white on the platforms is an alpha problem. Make sure that the TGA file associated with it is 32bit. Open it up in PS and resave it as 32bit and try it.

I dont see why it isnt already 32bit tho

Last chance for changes.

Here is the plan so far:
Make lighter
Stagger hero spawns so they are not each on one side of the map. Move the one from the small island to the beach.
Change Hero?

Thanks for making it lighter, because it was a really cool map, very nice for snipers, but a bit dark. I'm very happy that will be past time :D[/img]
