I've been waiting for this for a loooong time! My RAM and OS climbs over the recommended but I'm very sad that my video card falls short of the min req, it's like getting hit by a 10 ton cement truck!

When does this game come out? I'm desperate to get it whenever I can buy a 360 (technically, I can buy one right now with my twin's help, but I want to have some money spare for Wii games and going out and stuff). I'll download the PC version though, just to see what the gameplay's like. No way I can run the game at anything higher than the lowest graphics. My RAM is alright, but my video card is getting pretty ancient, and the recommended one is still over £100. I'll be better off getting a 360 - better graphics and more games, without the need to continually upgrade.

The full version of CoD4 will be released in November. The sixth I think...

same. Shame it's only singleplayer. It would be awesome if it had a LAN in the demo.

no problem. and i'd like to say, This demo rocks!!! CoD4 is awesome! I have a 6150SE nvidia intergrated and it ran fine. everything looked good, and ran smooth, but did lag a bit. But i think that was because i had like 3 other programs and Dremescene background Halo 3 starry night HD trailer running.

I played it on the easiest difficult setting last night, and I have to say (even when I have the graphics down as low as possible) the game looks GREAT! Also, be sure to download from FilePlanet! It only takes half an hour to download once you get past the queue. I think I'll give it a go on the harder difficulty settings later, but there's no doubt that I need to get a 360 by November. The game is just so freaking awesome. I particularly love the sound of so much chaos everywhere, it's something in a game I've just never heard before.

Yeah. Demo was fun, and ran suprisingly well (well not so much..newer games go for gpu instead of cpu) - i got no lag on max settings, whereas Call of Duty 2 demo (never bought full game) drops a good 10-20 fps below expectation on those settings..

Yay, I just completed it on veteran. It wasn't easy, but surprisingly it wasn't all that difficult, either. I hope they increase the difficulty settings in the main game.

Anyway, now that I've done the hardest bit...

I loved the demo, my mom wants me to rent it first before she aproves of it though... I didn't hear any strong language when playing the demo

I think it ain't about the language. Although demo's are known to have less bad language in it, compared to the actual level.
