I have been enjoying the many new maps from those who are modding. However, many (half?) of the maps crash SWBF when the "Loading" circle goes around once.

I have patch 1.2. And I just take the map folders I download and but them in my \GameData\AddOn directory.

What else do I need to do? I admit to not investigating this much myself... and/or reading each and every README. I figured I just toss them in and go.
I have searched the forums... but haven't found any matches to my particular problem. I guerss I'm either missing somethng obvious, or have a special problem.

Can someone help me?

Sould work, check that your addon folder isn't overloaded with maps, I think the restriction is 25, failing that download the 1.3 BETA from lucas Arts and try again, this allows for more maps and other improvements.

A sticky should be made about that... It becomes a classical problem...

mm,download the 1.3 and that should fix your prob,it fixed my problem's
