Off-topic : mini', have you ever thought to get "
inspiration" from the
Lambda-class Shuttle model shipping with
both Star Wars Jedi Knight II : Jedi Outcast or
Star Wars Jedi Knight : Jedi Academy to design the above one ?

(Indeed,
Raven Software has made a
great work on these two projects, and using stuffs coming from them [Meshes, textures, animations, etc...] would probably provide
Star Wars Battlefront II a "
more-professional" aspect...)

Looks good
I believe using Jedi Jnights Lambda textures might be worthwhile if minilogo is like me in prefering the modeling aspect to makung skins from scratch.

the references that i used for this model came from psych0fred, he has a ton of pics and blueprints for every ship in SW, id also rather make the textures from scratch as well. the landing gear on the JA lambda was terrible and i plan on making it look just like the movies with doors and all, JA just had like 2 blocks with textures on them. i dont see why i should use JA's lambda when rigid models like ships, weapons and anything else non-organic are incredibly simple to just model from scratch. i might use some of JA's BASE models and not someone elses because i have all the source models and animations in XSI with even a couple of models they didnt release, i was planning on converting maybe desann, tavion and kyle.

Off-topic : As you must have noticed, logo', I may be rather curious, and that's why I would wish to know what the Star Wars Jedi Knight : Jedi Academy "models" Raven Software did not release publicly (And which are located on your Hard-Drive) are...
Thanks in advance !...

they did release them publicly, go to jk3files.com and do a search on source models and it should come up, theyre released under keshires name but he was the one who talked raven into releasing them. something always looked off about the JA lambda thats why i didnt use it and because id just prefer to make my own, i want to be known as a modeler and not someone who just ports everything.

Nice work mini looks great! I agree the Lambda shuttle is very fitting for the game considering it was in EP V & VI. Also yes I have a nice
collection of Star Wars blueprints I've downloaded over the years. You can still get many of them on the web.

Seriously, Mini. You rock. The fact that you can churn these out so quickly is majorly awesome.

Off-topic : I guess you were talking of the "
Raven Animation and Model Source Files",
mini'... Unfortunately, I
already knew about their existence, and I mistook by thinking new "
Packs" similar to these ones had been released by
Raven Software...
But while we are at it, do you know where I could find the Plug-In you must have used to import
NeoMarz "
Asajj Ventress"
GhouL Model into
Autodesk 3DS Max, so as to port it into
Softimage|XSI ?

i dunno, look around, i wouldnt suggest doing anything with his model unless you ask him personally, i did it cause i know him and he said i could. porting all but the base JA models is a waste of time, theyre too high of poly and when using the polygon reducer they get messed up. im gonna port some of the base models though and use thier LODs rather than thier main mesh like Kyle and Desann.
oh and just so everyone knows, asajj was NEVER meant to be released, it was just a test and i wasnt aware that she was even in teancums maps until they were already out.

Off-topic : Don't worry, mini', I have never planned on porting similar contents to Star Wars Battlefront I / II without all authorizations required to proceed so... Indeed, the only aim I actually have would be to study and modify a few meshes designed by Raven Software - Which have not been released in the "Packs" you have mentioned earlier - for a private use...
