QFT. That game was one of those games I wanted to throw against a wall. It's the same feeling you get when you run into a Zubat (again) in Pokemon and all you want to do is get through the stupid cave. The Link to the Past bosses just take so much damage to defeat...

I gave up on the game. It gave me thrice the headaches that it should have.

Playing some Pirates, Vikings, Knights II version 2.3 (just got updated and released, now available on steam for free). So much fun

although the sides are unbalanced.

YESYESYES! Although, when you mention unbalance... Vikings overpowered? Knights underpowered? Just curious, personally prefer the Viking Gestir or Pirate Captain.

The problem with me is that they take away so much of your health. And, also LoZ related, I was able to beat Spirit Tracks today. It must have taken me close to an hour to beat the final boss.

I still think my version of the final boss in Spirit Tracks would have been better.
Well, I wasn't that far off, but still...
I've been playing more Halo 2, but I'm going to stop until I find myself a controller. My motion-based playing style requires it.
Oh, and I finished my Pokemon Heart Gold file today. Now just to prepare for the English versions.

Just played Rome: Total War online as Britons against the Seleucid Empire. Had an army of Chosen Swordsmen, Head Hurlers, Heavy Chariots, and Light Chariots. It was pretty much a beat down knockout slugfest for a while until all that was left was his general's bodyguard with 3 units, another heavy cav with 2 units, and a legionary. All I had was 1 Light chariot. I won.

Was playing the Project Reality mod for Battlefield 2.
2 of my squad mates were looking ata building, watching an entire squad squatting behind it, and chatting loudly over voip about it.
I'm running along to about where the building is, and I have a grenader kit. I launch a few well-placed grenades and take out 3 or 4 people...
My squadmates are like "whoever the hell that is, they've got good aim..."
So I get a little cocky and decided to charge in and clear the rest out from behind the building.
I running right into a medic healing 3 guys...
And immediately start spraying all over the place, with pathetic 3 round burst.
So I take out the first 3 guys with neatly placed 3 round bursts...
The medic is freaking out, but decides to try to give me a fight... he switches to his m4 which has about a 3 second animation until it's ready.
I aim right on to his head.... squeeze the trigger. Click. Click. Click. S***
He realizes he's not dead yet... and so do I. I immediately press R and start bunny hopping over him...
Well, if I've learned one thing in project REALITY, it's that bunny hoppers don't live to fight another day. The medic turned around, but 3 rounds in my back, then turned and healed his entire squad.
And I didn't get any nooby kill points....

Haha, aw. Still that sounds hardcore. Props sir.
In Pirates, Vikings, and Knights II, it's fun, but I feel as though Pirates are overpowered.
I was playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 demo on the ps3. I'm on defense and a tank rolls by me and I'm out of rockets. I said screw it, pull out my repair tool and run at it. Few seconds later, +100 Vehicle Kill.

This game is amazing.

Geez...Reminds me of the time I played as the Byzantines in Medieval 2: Total War in the Crusaders expansion. I had fun seeing the enemy charge right into my flamethrowers and get burnt to a crisp. :maulsaber:

Just spent a while on the AvP demo, giggling like a schoolgirl as I sat on the ceiling, poking the guys below me with my tail. Still not sure if I'll get the game, considering my constant connection issues, but I might rent the 360 version to see if that's better.

Not overpowered, you just get teamed a lot. Vikings have like the most powerful attack (not counting the explosive barrel). Knights have the best special attack I think, but that attack parrot is annoying lol.

Playing as the alien is so much fun.
I thought the explosive barrel was the pirates. and yes that parrot is annoying. Very annoying. I do like the knights the most.

Agreed, alien-teaming is awesome

Ha! I know the origin of both parts of that picture.
Played Halo3 and L4d2 at my friends house. We couldn't get 4 player l4d2 so we just played splitscreen. Halo 3 was the battle though. Crazy stuff happened.

I was watching my friends play some low-level online FPS at school and decided to try it.
The name of the game is Tremulous. It has simple mechanics, low level graphics, but it's perfect for school use. It uses very little bandwidth, so the tech people can't find us, it's easy to put away, especially in windowed mode.
After messing with firewall and crap I finally joined my friends' game. We had a 3 vs 1 before I showed up, so then it was a 3 vs 2. We were humans and we just took out hordes of aliens. It was funny because some of us were in the same classroom making noises and all whenever anyone was killed.

However you didn't get caught by your teacher is beyond my comprehension.

You gotta try out Urban Terror. You can run it straight from the install folder, so it's great for playing at school

I mean, I don't condone these actions.

Sometimes I ask myself how the teachers don't figure out what we're all doing. At any given time when the class has laptops up at least 100% of the class is doing something unrelated to what we're doing in class. Teachers are probably afraid of what they'd find if they walked around the desks.

Today our teacher actually told us not to look up pr0nz. Rather humorous, coming from a teacher.
