Can't get headshots

On my map I have several stock gamorreans, a stock acklay, and some custom jedi. Whenever I shoot them in the face my shot goes right through them and doesn't affect them at all. I can hit them in the feet, however. I figure that I'm probably missing some memory pools but I'm not sure which ones, since the error log has nothing about memory pools.

I've never experienced this problem but does it happen randomly or always?
When did you first notice this was a problem?(after which edit etc)
Is there anything suspicious looking in your BFront2.log?

Although this may not have anything to do with the problem, you should fix the spelling here:

It always happens, I've never been able to get a headshot on any melee character on my map. The units with guns can, though. I noticed it started happening right when I first added the Gamorreans to my map. The Gamorreans are completely stock and I do not have DC: in my lua when I call for them.

I fixed the spelling, and it did not fix the problem. I don't know how it got misspelled like that.

The only thing I can think that might cause this is the fact that my map is one gigantic model with about 1900 vertices. The entire thing is a destructible building and its covering the whole map.

Edit: Also, I thought it might be worth mentioning that I can hit the acklay in its critical hit location which seems to be its legs.

i have never been able to headshot acklays in any mod or the campaign, their "head"shot location is in their center at about the height of a person. i have been able to headshot gamoreans, and i haven't tested custom jedi for headshots.

the headshot for the acklay would probably require alot of complex things to get it fixed. i don't know about the gamoreans or jedi.

If I remember correctly, the critical location for the acklay is supposed to be the leg joints.

Yeah, it is. If you read my post completely you will see I can hit the acklay in its critical hit location.

I am still having this problem but I have decided its not terrible enough of a problem for me to worry too much. The map doesn't crash at least. I should consider myself lucky it does not crash with all those errors I have. :|

I have given up on this and I've moved on.

Sorry about the confusion, but I was correcting Dakota who seemed to think that Acklay's critical hit location was a bug. :oops:

i just wanted to say that i ment the empty space right under their body, the spot you would see the green spawn rings if you are playing as one, seemed to have a headshot location, i never tried the leg joints though.
