Jedi Academy Issues....

I downloaded a Player model of Yoda, I put the .pk3 in the Base folder like it said to, and I get this error when the game is at the "Starting Up..." screen (in MP):
ERROR: npc extensions (*.npc) are too large
When I take out the Yoda .pk3, it's fine. So I looked inside of it and noticed that the .npc file for Yoda was a bit larger than some of the others (which is probably what the error meant). The wierd part is, no one else on the website where I got this from has this problem. (I got it from jediknight2.filefront.com)

Do I need to update my game to 1.01? (I hadn't updated it, because when I do, it disables the cheats :P :?) or is there something else wrong?

It means you have too many mods which add npcs. Remove some of them, or at least their npc files.

Yes, that was the problem. However, when I see Yoda ingame, he's Huge! The reviewer said to do this to get the size right:
To get the right size for Yoda, I suggest you add the following to ‘modelscale.cfg’ in your JAplus Folder:

"yodavm" 0.75
"yodaflee" 0.75
Do I create these files? Because I can't find them anywhere. :?

Edit: This is stupid. I can only have 5 extra characters (that have .npc files), because at 6, it gives me that error! This can't be right! There has to be people with more than 5 extra npcs!

Yes, the limit is much more than that.

Be sure to check all of your mod pk3s for any .npc files, because you may have more than you think.

Also, remember that your base .npcs count towards the limit also, but that shouldn't be a problem unless you've added some .npcs to your asset pk3s.

I didn't add any to the assets, and the only mod pk3s that have .npc files are the characters, of which I only have 5. :?

Edit: Alright, now I can fit 7. I don't know why. I think it was something to do with the Darth Vader model I got. But it still doesn't make sense. Is there better mod support for version 1.1 of Jedi Academy? Because I haven't updated my game.

That could be the problem. Even if it doesn't fix it, you should update.

But it disables the cheats. :(

Oh well, I'll try it.

Edit: Yeah, that was the problem.
