Is there a transparent color for a .tga file? I don't think that GIMPS transparency works.

You're making no sense; what is this "transparent color" of which you speak? Transparency in all programs works the same: with an alpha channel.

But when I tell GIMP to change a section of, say the helmet, to "Alpha Channel" it isn't transparent. In other games, the files have a transparency color. A color that when the program reads it, it counts it ans "invisible"

I'm using 2.0. I can change things to "Alpha Channel" and it looked fine. But when you load, and Munge, it comes out as black. For example. I changed a whole skin to "Alpha Channel" and the unite came out all black in the game. ( I was triing for an "invisible" unite. not that the PC couldn't see it, but that you as the player couldn't see your self.)

You have to hex edit the msh so it can be transparent. Don't ask me how.
