Noobish question about screenshots
ok, i know you can go into free camera mode and look around the battlefeild and i know there is something in FC that says screenshot or something, but ive never been able to get it to work. (the FC part) do you have to use an actual camera to take the screenies? or is it something else on your computer?

Re: Noobish question about screenshots
Camera shot is something different. It spits out coordinates that you put in your lua. Those coordinates tell the camera where to point when you're at the spawn screen.

Re: Noobish question about screenshots
press the "printscreen"-button for like a second and battlefront will save the curtrent frame as .tg in the gamedate\screenshots folder

Re: Noobish question about screenshots
What does the scroll lock key matter for? prntscrn takes it at the same resolution as you see it, so it should be fine for you, especially if its on a new computer with a reasonably sized screen.
Another question about this - I have a mac laptop with bootcamp setup to run windows xp, and it doesn't have the prntscrn button and i never use xfire. Does anyone know of any applications for taking a screen dump or equivalent of prntscrn?

Re: Noobish question about screenshots
you don't need to use the scroll lock combo to take pictures with xfire - just go to settings, ingame, and then key combinations and make it whatever you want.
for me, screen shot is ctrl+s, and video is ctrl+v
