Ok Ive asked this question before and Ive searched the topics on it, but I can't find a answer to why I get a IE script error whenever I try to create a new map! This is the root of all my problem. Because of it I can't get textures to appear on objects in Zeroedit or the game. Whats causing this? I have IE v6? should I reinstall IE?

make sure that your BFbuilder installation path don“t have an empty space.
Example:
C.\Lucasarts\Bfbuilder will be fine
but
C:\Lucas Arts\Bfbuilder might cause trouble

no, you move the whole directory: BFbuilder to a directory without spaces.

Have a doosy. Was posted on shadowlan. Rebel_scum was in the middle of making a map and he minimized zeroeditor. When he pulled it back up, the model positions were completely fubar'd and they were scattered everywhere. Since he was having a few probs with logging in, I told him I would relay the msg since I don't have the slightest clue on mapping. Any suggestions?

Re-install the tools to C:\BfBuilder. Then copy your modid data folders over to it and run from there.

I had somewhat of the same problem. Not from minimizing though. I hope he has a backup. I tried everything to recover them but no luck.

Hey ShadowHawk,
Tell Rebel_Scum to try reading this thread on Fred's site, it's the problem I had that I thought killed my map. Those were dark days for my map. The solution Fred gave worked though, and Ord Mantell was able to be released.

I wish I had seen that a few months back. It probably would have saved me 2 months of work.

Well my particular problem occurred only about 3 weeks ago, but I think I do remember Fred telling people about FlipX before that.
