Does anyone here play Animal Crossing?
Which Animal Crossings?
I play Population: Growing for GC and City Folk for Wii.

Stats about me on:
~Animal Crossing: Population Growing
~For the GameCube

I've played this Animal Crossing for awhile now. It all started when I played it over at a baby sitters house with her daughter in a town named T.O.T.Y., where I created a character named Poopy (I was immature at the time ). Poopy was very successfull, catching every fish possible and nearly every bug possible, gaining the golden rod and golden shovel, and getting the wind metal wind thing on top of the final stage house. Also, the town's musuem was almost completely filled up, and Tom Nook's shop was at its final level. (Nookington's)

The girl who owned the game drastically lagged behind me. >: D
But alas, I got too old for the baby sitters so I created a new town of my own at home and took the memory card to the sitters house and transferred everything Poopy had to my new 'most successful' character. At the time I was obsessed with Star Wars, so my new towns name was StarWars, and the most successful character's name was Luke, with the 2 other characters Ive made so far being Wedge and Han Solo. StarWars, I believe, is the best town you'll ever find. Its wonderfly layed out and the villagers are awesome.

Ive been using Wedge as a storage and transferring character so far, and Han Solo I havent even started with yet. Later, Im also going to make a girl character, Leia.

My achievements:
---------------------------
The town itself has 15 or over characters, so it got the bridge upgrade from Tortimer.
Also, it has the final stage of Tom Nook's store, Nookingtons.
The musuem is also starting to get filled up a lot, but Im still working on it.

Luke:
-Has golden rod and golden shovel (rod transferred from Poopy)
-Has caught nearly every fish possible, including the Coelecanth, but Ive still got a few to go.
-Have caught more than 60% of all bugs.
-Final stage house (got golden statue)
-HRA rating of 90,188, and was rewarded with a house model.
-Has over 1 million 5 hundred thousand Bells in the post office bank, so I have acquired the tissue box.
-Created fashion designs at the Able Sisters' place, and they are becoming quite popular, though when I keep asking for chores, villagers make me give ppl with my design new clothes...
-Main room theme is: Mario theme.
Upstairs room theme is: Outdoors/backyard
-Currently working on 'the perfect town' to get the golden axe, but I dont understand what the wishing well is telling me right now.
-Currently working on filling every dirt spot in the town with flowers.
-LEARNED HOW TO SEND LETTERS TO VILLAGERS WHERE THEY UNDERSTAND! BOOYA! lol
-Has a basement filled with every sub-version of gyroid known to the game. (so all I dig up anymore is fossils )
-Has acquired nearly every gift from Gulliver that I know of.

Wedge:
-Final stage house (got silver statue)

Han Solo:

Im wanting to buy Animal Crossing: Wild World, but unfortunately I dont have a Nintendo DS. I REALLY want to play the Animal Crossing where the animals actually DO stuff. Though I cant afford to spend $129 on a DS, plus Animal Crossing on a handheld doesnt seem extremely glamourous.

I have bought Animal Crossing: City Folk.

Im a little sad though. I was really looking forward to buying Animal Crossing: City Folk, playing it, not knowing what lied around the corner, and then BAM! I go to a gaming website with a video of ppl playing the game and the mystery of what the game was like was ruined...I started to question whether I should still buy the game or not.

My towns current residents:
Leopold
Ribbot
Liz
Cashmere
Wolfgang
Gonzo
Baabara
Pompom
Pudge
Apollo
Carrie
Carmen
Penny
Bluebear
Paolo

I hate it when residents that have been in my town for a long time and/or that Ive really grown to like, or residents thats houses made up features of the town that I loved, move out.

I also just bought the Nintendo GameCube Gameboy Advance Cable, so Im livin' it up with Kapp'n and stuff.

I haven't heard of it but I'll look it up and watch some video's on it. Also, if you don't want to re-post everything you can always copy/paste from the other forum to here.

If people say they play the game(s) I'll post my status and stuff up here. I wont be so quick to post it though because on a different forum I spent a bunch of time posting all my stuff and no one replied.
I don't play it, but my little brother gets on sometimes, though. Hasn't used the Wii lately, however.

Loved the Gamecube version, but the DS and Wii versions didn't win me over to buy them.

Actually, the original game was on N64, but they only made a Japanese version.

I didnt know that. I wonder what the N64 version would be like, because the GC version had graphics that were like N64 graphics.

I used to think the graphics were normal for the GC version, but then I read someone reference GC versions graphics to the N64's, then I played City Folk and realized "Wow, population growing's graphics are bad."
