Trimming my Map???
Hey I have a question, on a map that has completely modded units, what is the maximum map size I should aim for, If I want it to be reasonably downloadable for others
??? In what ways should I trim it in size? Thanks

Re: Trimming my Map???
-When you Zip/Rar/7-zip your map up to be uploaded somewhere it shouldn't be over 75mb.
-If you are using custom versions of rep/cis/imp/all lvls, open up the [side].req and remove any entries you're not using (like heroes or vehicles, or in the case of rep.req -- the Ep2 or Ep3 clones) and re-munge them. That'll bring your file size down considerably.
-If it still seems like it's a big filesize, take a look at everything you put in. Sometimes new modders put stuff like vehicles/props/units in just 'because they're cool', but they don't really add to the map. If you need to trim stuff out at this point, look into taking out some of that stuff that doesn't really add to the map.
