First off,'m glad to be a member of the forums now I've been a lurker for a while :p

Anyway, i have a simple question to ask. What is the easiest way to replace stock map textures with my own? I saw this: forums/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=28536 but I didn't know if this was the best or easiest way to do this.

I would greatly appreciate it if you explain my options

Anyways, if you mean you want to change, say, the snow on both to polis massa, (assuming you have the mod tools and a map that works) use THIS tutorial (link) to get a shipped map to be able to be edited, then refer to THIS TOPIC (just from the post it goes to to the rest of the page) to change the texture to another one not included in that map's assets.

I'd suggest that if you want to edit the map (Objects etc...) and textures use the method Cleb suggested. But if you want to edit just the textures you can use my method to decrease the file size.
