Looks nice. Especially around the rebreather. His body will murder the engine with polys.

I got specular lighting working on meshes. Almost got it all figured out and it would make that helmet shine rly cool.

Maybe this will dispel some of the ambiguity:
I've decided to progress at about the rate of 1 armor section a day. He still doesn't have a neck, though.
There are also still some scaling issues, he looks kinda like I stuffed the Pillsbury dough boy into MJOLNIR armor.

You could dispel some of the criticism (and be a touch more accurate, in my opinion) if you lengthened the portion of the armor that went across the shoulder. It would make the chestpiece less ambiguously feminine, and would make his shoulders seem a touch broader.t551t551 wrote:... I also know you mentioned scaling issues, but you may want to make his briefs-section (for lack of a better term) a little less wide than the breadth of his shoulders, as that is how the proper scale goes. It would certainly look much less like 'ol M.C. had gone to seed.
