very good questions, Im wondering the same thing really. fire from the eclipse at the death star wouldnt do too much. but one direct hit from the DS 2, and pretty much say good bye. Movie/comic book-wise, that's how it'd go. Game wise I have no idea, but it might go through the same concept. The rest I have no idea. We're gonna have to wait for this monstro expansion to come out.

Off-topic : I would personally not be eventually that "Categorical" and "Confident" about the possible Overwhelming the Eclipse might undergo in case this Dreadnought was opposed towards an Offensive Space Station comparable to the Death Star II, as we mustn't forget that the aimed Super Star Destroyer could modify both its Relative Position and its Effective Plan way more easily than most of the wide-spread Capital Starships in order to proceed to several Assault Waves onto Moff Jerjerrod's Jurisdiction Domain from multiple Locations being inaccessible for this last Imperial Design...

Believe me, Shadowman', the Fame of the highly-feared Kuat Drive Yards Company has not been built around the amazing Way of Life of Human Beings evolving on the surface on the implicated World, which means that the Dagger-shaped Design of this Dreadnought has been approved and made at least as much important as the whole Weaponry embedded inside the concerned Capital Starship, and that's why I can't help thinking that the Qualified Crew leading Maneuvers onboard the Death Star II might face a few Difficulties while attempting to annihilate the Eclipse because of the aimed Vessel's Profile. Above all, we mustn't forget that one of the Venator-class Star Destroyers featured in Star Wars Episode III : Revenge of the Sith could rather comfortably confront eight Recusant-ones engineered thanks to the Demand phrased and ordered by the Commerce Guild, which has tended to prove that such Creations could be rather tough to take down...

Off-topic : Once again, attempting to dissociate and determine which of the two featured Devisings intended and supervised by the Galactic Empire could overwhelm and subdue the other won't be that easy to complete, but if we nonetheless took advantage out of Realities and Knowledges commonly accepted by most of the Scientists and Specialists evolving on our Homeworld, we could learn about the fact the Death Star II might wipe an Executor-class Star Dreadnought, even though this same Offensive Platform was about to be annihilated by this last Kuat Drive Yards® Design, basically because of the Potential Energy Resource demanded and exploited by the Imperial Orbital Structure having been highly damaged by Lord Vader's Flag Ship, especially if this one was really based off on the Conglomerated and Dense Matter inherent to the one having led to the generation of the highly-feared Spatial Black Holes, for example...

And how did they get the Eclipse? it was built by the empire 10 years after this game takes place!

Off-topic : Actually, none around person registered onto GameToast Bulletin-Board could confirm that the Star Dreadnought labelled "Eclipse" had not been yet devised and engineered by Kuat Drive Yards® at the time the concerned Petroglyph Games® Product is taking place in, additionally to the fact I greatly doubt assembling and completing such a Capital Ship must have demanded a time being too much significant, while knowing about the Effective Execution Speed inherent to the numerous Employees working for this same Company. Furthermore, as far as I can tell, Creations being primarily intended towards the Galactic Empire may not be brought into service once they are eventually achieved, which might perhaps explain why the targetted Executor-class Star Destroyer would have made a Resounding Appearance only after a Time Period being as much consequent as the one you have mentioned earlier...

Well appearentily the empire got the eclipse back so tyber must of abandoned it, it was built over byss not Kuat. And if it was to confront the ds2 the ds2 would Obliterate it, due to the fact that the eclipses superlaser can meerily crack a planets crust while the ds2 can destroy it. besides the ds2 has hundreds of thousands of turbolasers all over it so its the ds2 for sure
