So, I've been thinking of the best recreations of stock world maps made by everyday battlefront 2 modders. Anybody care to give there opinion of what you think are the best maps that are made based on stock worlds?

Might as well take the death star off, There aren't any other Death Star maps.....Yet.

Actually there is a slightly changed death star map with new sides called Death Star: Story. I don't know if that counts since its not completely origanal but its a start.

My list

With the exception of Rends's Mos Eisley, none of the maps listed above are "better" versions of the stock maps than any of the stock maps themselves. Most of the time they are just larger or "fresher." Some of those aren't even objectively good maps, so having the "best" of a list that includes poor maps is somewhat misleading.

Rends's two Coruscant maps aren't recreations of a stock map, they just share the title. They're pretty dissimilar from the Jedi Temple map (I still don't think that they're better than the stock Coruscant, but in any case they are not recreations of it).

He wasn't asking what maps are better versions of the stock maps, he was asking which maps we thought most accuratly represented what the stock worlds would look like.

So if there was no stock map for that world, which mod map would be the best?

I know, my point was that many of the maps that are simply new versions of old maps aren't really that good, and so looking for the best out of a bad selection is a little odd.

True. However I see this topic as mostly opinionated anyways.

Anyways, I'll might back later with my thoughts of what I see to be better 'recreations' or, what I'd like to call, 'Extended Stock Worlds or Somewhat Modified Stock Worlds to Where None of the Actual Map is Effected, but the Sides Are'. Topic is a good concept, but a little unfair to a lot of modders, though, in my honest opinion. I really don't like selecting over people's stuff. :/ Just not my style. So, I may or may not come back with opinions on what I think is 'my favorite recreation'.

I love Rend's and Bantha's maps. Hands down. No offense to anyone. Those are alot better than Pandemic's atleast. If only stock sides and maps coulda been like that...

Well I saw you put my Death Star sides change on there.
Thanks, but I don't think that really counts. It was only a side change, and Death Star is unlikely to get a new map seeing as it is an indoor map.
I'm still touched by someone labeling my work as the best of something, anyhow...lol
