theres supposed to be a steep learning curve so maybe thats why you got bored w/ it reku
Edit: Ok so I just finished a huge session on FEAR multiplayer and I gotta say that I totally disagree with Reku. That was some of the most fun, addictive FPS ive played in a while. Regualr deathmatch is awesome but it really shines in team DM, people actually work as a team

And as for realism i gotta say that Fear multiplayer strikes just the right balance of fun and intensity. You live long enough to take a couple of bullets but taking a couple shots isnt something you just brush off either. Also in team DM its almost impossible to get some little punk who will ruin the game because 1) throwing a nade while you're in the middle of a room of buddies will only hurt you, so theres really no TK's and 2) theres almost no wall glitching. Its
almost nonexistent because while you can do it in like two select areas, you can flush them out easy with nades no prob. (so far ive only seen one glitch and thats on a roof.)
And the graphics are beautiful to boot. In a gory, macabre, flying body parts kinda way. This game is about as close as you can get to the intensity and addictiveness of Halo 2 w/out leaving your PC. (Battlefield 2 excluded) Combine all of that with the fact that its free and you have a thoroughly fun game on your hands
My Score: 9/10
graphics-9 (awesome)
sound-9 (very convinving)
gameplay-9 (very intense, very satasying and very addictive, only hurt by the fact that some guns are a little over powered on certain levels)
presentation-9 (very polished)
value-10 (you cant beat free)
Lasting Appeal- 9 (DM takes a good bit of skill but I think its the team DM that will keep me coming back 2 months down the line)
