The munge thingy is here:

and something about BF2_modtools.exe makes it say "The application has failed to start because binkw32.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

Sooooo who knows what to do??????

A) Stop checking every box when you munge. Unless you were actually trying to munge the sound stuff.

B) Put your BF2_Modtools.exe in the same folder as your BattlefrontII.exe. It should be something along the lines of "Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData."

Also, that mungelog doesn't tell us anything. Get your BF2_Modtools working so that we can see your BF2log.

Silvadalek, keep it in the same topic, you already have a topic about your crashing map.

Find all of the errors marked "Message Severity: 3" and post them. Those are usually the errors that cause crashes.

If there aren't any Message Severity: 3's, then just post the whole thing (probably in "Hide" tags, though.)

i'd like this topic to b ended because it is the same problem from my "Something to clear up . . .) topic

and here

Message Severity: 3
.\Source\MountedTurret.cpp(1555)
Mounted turret "tat_hover_skiff TURRET1" weapon 1 "com_weap_bldg_gunturret" not found

Message Severity: 3
.\Source\MountedTurret.cpp(1555)
Mounted turret "tat_hover_skiff TURRET2" weapon 1 "com_weap_bldg_gunturret" not found

Message Severity: 3
.\Source\MountedTurret.cpp(1555)
Mounted turret "tat_hover_skiff TURRET3" weapon 1 "com_weap_bldg_gunturret" not found

i guess this means no skiff . . .
