HQ mod (bloom effect)

This is my expriment with ENBSeries mod by Vorontsov Boris

based on mod for Half Life 2 v0.075

I configured this mod for get bloom effect lighting in game wich uses in most modern games (it also used in swbf2)

DOWNLOAD
How to install:

place files "d3d9.dll" and "enbseries.ini" from archive in your "Star Wars Battlefront\GameData\" folder
use SHIFT+F12 for disable/enable bloom effect.

It was tested on Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT

It may won't work on old videocard or other videocard and it will decrease your performance

You can edit "enbseries.ini" file for set more higher bloom effect for example by increase these values:

BloomPowerDay=8
BloomPowerNight=16
Dont overuse it couse snow maps will looks weird

I just tried not overused it couse on snow maps its too bright

Cool idea..

So it makes the map brighter, am I correct?

I might try it out, but nice jobb, you always find the coolest things for SWBF1, the best game ever. :P

SWBF2 has bloom already. Dunno if you knew that or not.

Maybe he's not using the shipped bloom effect but the one he made / helped make.

I'd really like to know how you got the effect from Half-Life 2. Is the filetypes in Source compatible with the Battlefront series?

I did not know it was in SWBF2 either, just saying that he finds cool things for the original LucasArts SWBF game ;)

EDIT:

Just checked the mod itself out. Now I am 99% sure that this is my computers fault but it made my SP game lag worse than a MP game hosted on bad internet halfway across the world. But that's my problem again.

Overall I guess it was pretty cool how it made everthing kinda blurred and brighter.

Yes swbf2 have own bloom and I said it in my first post but swbf1 not :| so this mod allow get close to swbf2 look

about performance need turn off occlusion

EnableOcclusion=0
you can press * (multiply) on numerical keyboard for see FPS

and need try use various mods for other games ENBSeries with different settings
