looks like this map has potentiall, i really like the look of the land surface in that map, very metority or moonish. this would make a cool space map to fight in those trenches.
good luck

Offtopic: How do you make those canyon things?

Probably by working with the height tool to a certain extent. (making a dip in the terrain, rounding it out, then adding ridges on the side)

...wouldnt this belong in the SWBFII modding forum since you need help on how to do certain things?
but anyways map looks pretty cool and it would make a nice map for fighters

These calderas/craters make it difficult to have a infantry-based battle, cuz you have to walk long ways to reach your enemy.
I'd recommend that this map centers on firefights from a spaceship to a base between the calderas, or on dogfighting.
Anyway, your terraining is fine.

this looks good, very good!
im looking forward to it

Here's a question- Are you supposed to re-munge after Zero editing? If not, I completely messed it up.
Yes, you need to re-munge every time you edit your map, including .odf or .msh editing.

Did you create this map intially as a space map? If so, how did you add the ground terrain without messing up your map in the gmae?

I did something similar and when I put ground terrain in there, I played the game and there was absoluetley, NOTHING! Just sky, no capital ships or cps!

That's actually coming along pretty nicely. Nice rock texture you've chosen, but I warn you that you'll be able to see the edge of the course when you fly out of it. A setback that probably can't be helped I'm afraid. The image URL is wrong by the way.
