Imagine the following scenario:
You add a custom Force Power to a new Hero character that you are working on. But it is not a standard force power (push, pull, choke, etc). So in order to implement this, somehow you set up a script to be called every time the user uses that force power.
Is anything remotely like this possible?

Re: Custom Force Powers
Ummm... I think scripting doesn't matter in regards to weapon setups. Lots of people have made custom force powers, you need to see about downloading their assets and making a custom side to use them on.DarthRubik wrote:Imagine the following scenario:

Re: Custom Force Powers
The issue with force powers is that they're rather limited in what they can actually do. You can push, pull, fire some sort of projectile and do effects. Battlefront 1/2 is rather limited in that respect. There are a few other things possible, but nothing terribly complicated.

Re: Custom Force Powers
Thats too bad........Is there any way to "fake" it (i.e. have a force power that does a "push" with zero power, and then do something every time a force push with zero power registers on a guy?)

Re: Custom Force Powers
Yes it is but it still requires custom sides/weapons with the performance you desire and also it will require some scripting which is probably out of your league right now. The scripting aspect is for detecting when a character gets hit with a specific weapon.DarthRubik wrote:Thats too bad........Is there any way to "fake" it (i.e. have a force power that does a "push" with zero power, and then do something every time a force push with zero power registers on a guy?)
