Is there a way to damage destroyable objects with a vehicle?

For example if you wanted a banner which could be broken by driving into it with a speederbike. Is this possible? And do I need to edit the object odf or the speederbike's?

umm - I'd suggest you give it some health - and maybe add a HP and do, so it loses ALL its health when hit there

try to experiment

Look at the Sand Skiff on Dune Sea, it's easily destroyed by ramming into it with a speeder bike.

That's a good point. But there must be something different about objects and vehicles, because, yes i agree, you can damage another vehicle by hitting it; take starfighters for instance, but with 1hp the object i made takes no damage, in the same way infantry dont take damage if you hit them with a starfighter, or the hoth generator takes no damage if u hit it with a speeder, or ammobots dont take damage when u hit them with combat speeders etc.
I guess its just not possible. The reason i ask was cos i was going to have a service ramp like the one in TPM modrace when anakin crashes through the barrier. I'll just have to leave it out, unless anyone has any suggestions?

About the starfighters. I found that annoying, because I stole one on Dune Sea and could have knocked the heads of the droids, but I went right through them. I discovered that custom vehicles (Sat's TIE Int. and flying furniture) don't, so when I hit infantry the ship blew up. So I guess flyers have no infantry collison geometry/mesh or whatever when they're flying.

But did the infantry take damage with those custom ships u mentioned?

try making your object a vehicle class in the odf and giving it speeds of zero, especially maxspeed.
