Hi everyone, I just have a few questions about making a map and custom sides and I hope you dont mind.
1. Is it possible to make one person a hero on one side? (Such as you replace the clone engi with anakin. I tried but then that whole person just disappears.)
2. How do you rename the units? (Such as change the clonetrooper name to Bob or Lary. {Not like I'm gonna do that, but maybe for a western map where they have pistols and punches} )
3. How do you change the weapons and explosions and things? (I suspect there is a tutorial somewhere...)
4. Custom vehicles? (Any howto's on making/designing custom vehicles?)
5. Water...(I did EVERYTHING this tutorial said correctly to make it but the textures never appeared. It was always gray stuff that you couldn't see through on ZE)
6. Flying vehicles spawn? (I tried to make anakin's starfighter spawn once and it never worked.)
7. Whats the max amount of cps? (Maybe 20?...)


Right now I'm working on my test map and my latest map just crashed with locals (gamorreans) (localized). Is it possible to add locals being anakins or droids?

1. Change when it asks for the rifleman, and put in rep_hero_anakin.
2. Localize. Its called editlocalize, and is in your Data_ZZZ folder. And its spelled Larry.
3. Dunno. I'm sure there is.
4. Dunno.
5. Did you add the texture? I forgot that too.
6. Don't forget to fill in the second page too, and that the vehicle is being called in the lua, and don't forget the _sc if it has one.

furthur more, I think you should do some browsing on the site more. I am a little skeptical you couldn't find what you were looking for. I know mav had a flow chart on this kind of thing. Maybe he should issue it to everybody because it is helpful and hilarious.

Anakins because they're demented and droids cuz they dont hunt!
