I added an article(About adding gamemodes) to the wiki, which appears in full on the edit page, but is cut off on the veiwing page. It can be found HERE.

I would like to request that someone complete the scripting section(s) of the wiki - it's what many modders (including me) find of most interest.

Yes, I can't finish it becuase I don't know exactly what each thing is. I'm not sure if variables is used in the traditional sense, or if it refers to that little function(post) thing. Also, wether that word function is a function or wether something like KillObject("BigBoulder5") is one and many other things. SAVE ME ZERTED! Or someone else. ...

I added a page about ScriptCB_DoFile, though my knowledge is limited, so if someone like Zerted or anyone else could edit it for completeness/accuracy, to make sure it's better than what I put up.

Yeah, we're not sure whether the Wiki will return. It's been vandalized multiple times so Guru took it offline until we can find a better solution.

Why not make a tracker of some sort, so if someone vandalizes it, it is easily reportable

Good idea, Ipod. You could easily ban the people who did it if you tracked them. Maybe give a temp ban, and if they vandalize again, perminant ban.

hmm, how about having the page edit password protected? Only users with GT or Wiki logons would have rights to edit a page, while anyone could view it.

i think anyone should be able to edit it and view it

but the edits only take place after a admin or mod aproves it

if/when it returns it will be logins only. that way if someone erases anything, so shall they be erased.

I've set up my own wiki now. Could you open the old up as read only so I can get some of my content off it? That was the only place I was storing some modding information.

Guru and Shadowhawk are working on a new Wiki, but I'd PM Guru as well just in case the old data doesn't get transferred.
