they gameplay doenst look too different from me2 in the demo, but the grenades and meleeattacks in the trailer make it probably more dynamic. the graphics and envoronment dont seem particulary new/better but i guess thats what they will be working on till 2012...

The guitar rift/song in Fall of Earth trailer is so good. I hope it's in the soundtrack (doubt it).

The Mass Effect 3 thread on bioware's site that collects all info is so great and useful.

I recently finished up ME playthrough #2, and using that to play ME2 again. I'll probably use that one for ME3 file. It's more in tune with me. My first time was like all paragon. 2nd time I did mainly paragon, but did some renegade at times.

I have three characters that I've used since the first game: A strictly paragon male soldier, a strictly renegade male engineer, and a female biotic that I regard as "my" character (making the choices I'd probably make).

I've got 4 characters, Paragon Male, Renegade Female, the Paragade Male (aka Paragon 2), then Conrad, who just picks the stupidest choice possible, except when dealing with Conrad, when he makes only the friendly choices.
Also I hope that Conrad is in ME3. Preferably a squadmate.

I'm quite sure he won't be a squadmate, but I've no doubt at all that he'll be around. I would definitely be interested to see him play a bigger role this time around, though.

Also, I'm gonna be adding more links and such to the first post here in a bit, I've been too busy to do so. Sorry guys.

I can't wait for the quarians to make up with the geth, the krogan to make up with the salarians/turians, the galaxy to make up with the humans, and the turian councilor to sacrifice himself to save something big and important. Gosh I hate that guy....

Hidden/Spoiler:
Has anyone noticed the Illusive Man's eye-implants bear a bit of a resemblance to Saren's? Probably just symbolic, but hey, it's Bioware.

I don't think the Krogans will make peace with the Salarians, that's the whole dilemma, by saving the Krogans from extinction you have gained great allies in your campaign against the Reapers, however the Krogans may seize the opportunity to grow more powerful politically and militarily, and once they have the necessary tools for their revenge, it will only be a matter of time until the galaxy is engaged in yet another bloody conflict.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend... until my other enemy is dead, then we are at war again.

I think as long as Wrex is alive a 2nd krogan war won't happen.

I dunno, as long as Wrex is alive a Krogan Civil War might happen. That'd be interesting. A war's going to happen either way, imo.

I just finished Mass Effect 2 again, including dlc (lotsb and arrival), and I'm more excited for 3 now. Liara said that the shadow broker was very interested with the Protheans, and was looking into a way out or safety from the Reapers. Think this will have any appearance/effect/affect in 3?

Updated with some stuff I realized wasn't there. Hasn't really been much news on ME3 since E3.

Oh, and, here.

I sure they're saving some good stuff for Comi-con.

Liara has a justicar inspired armor. Maybe a hint that she will become one if you play out your game like that?

Ashley wearing a sexy shirt battle armour with heels.

I heard that's Vegas or whatever the new guy is. Looks....like a typical jarhead.

Kaiden, normal.

Heh, my opinions on it:

The only time I'm gonna see Kaiden alive is in other peoples' YouTube videos, so his appearance is irrelevant to me. lol

Every time I see Ashley, it's always at the exact same angle; I like her new look, but I'm not sure how much. I need to see a conversation with her or something. But yeah, her Miranda-wannabe Femme Fatale suit may or may not be less practical than Miranda's. Can't wait till they really get to chat with each other.

The new guy looks like a... *tries to think of something appropriate for GT*... tool? I donno, like you said, looks like a typical jarhead. There are very few fauxhawks I'm ok with, and he's not one of him. His character's gonna have to be really cool to redeem him.

Good observation about Liara, I'm having a slow day and didn't make that connection. XD

Every Mass Effect game has a dull, "I'm just a grunt following orders" type of character. The new guy fits the description, so that must be it.

Haha, I went bros before gardening tools with Kaiden. Since his voice actor was Carth. Also Ash was annoying me at the time.

Her armour atleast looks a bit more practical than Miranda's.

We'll see. Maybe he'll be like Grunt or Zaeed.

Ya, I picked up on that right away. The color scheme was too specific and the eye brow pieces gave it away. But I don't really see Liara living the life of a Justicar.

@Nihillo: ME1 was Kaiden. ME2 was Jacob?

Ya. They had neat little stories of their own, but they were basically just loyal grunts, that was their whole gimmick.

hmm, i liked liaras previous outfits better but the new guys armor looks really cool. i dont care too much about ashley and kaiden, their characters never seemed really interesting or original to me. its kinda ironic that the character named "grunt" is one of the coolest and most original :P (in my opinion)

It is pretty interesting how Grunt has a bit more personality. You can add Zaeed to the Grunt camp.

I wonder if it's more because he's an alien, atleast to us. Garrus could be in that same camp. Although Garrus' character evolves near the end of ME1 and definitely in 2.

Not a fan of hte new guy, but just a thought: The other 3 characters there are all old characters we know and love (actually not at all, I hate both Ashley and Kaidan) but maybe he's not a new character at all. He could just be an old character revamped, and just because he looks different doesn't mean he wasn't in the other games; I thought Ashley was Miranda til I noticed she was labeled Ashley. Heck, that could be how you can make shepard look, or that could be the new and improved Conrad for all we know. Let's hope that the latter is the case. :P

Maybe it's because I really like Ashley, but I couldn't confuse her with Miranda if I tried. Although when I first saw her new look in that Game Informer article a few months back, it took me a moment to recognize her, even including that little snippet about her & Kaidan.

No, Mr. Jarhead is a new character, not a recurring role. His name is James Vega (was originally gonna be James Sanders), Bioware has said that he "[reflects] the perspective of a new player coming to the franchise" and "while [he] is an experienced soldier, he is unfamiliar with the seedy underbelly and political workings of the galaxy".
