So anyway, turns out I read him wrong, he wasnt talking about not having his position taken over, he just wants to know if you guys could halt the mod for a short period of time...at least maybe a week or so.

I don't mean to incite an argument but he is a thief and there is no misunderstanding. He's playing a copy of SWBF2 which he did not buy I'd obtain legally. That is a banable offense here. And it's insulting to the industry in general. Say you created a wonderful video game, but you weren't getting the money or recognition your deserved because people were stealing copies. That is exactly what's happening. And just to let you know, Pandemic, the developer of SWBF2 went BANKRUPT.

He did leagaly obtain it. He just thought it was torrented cause it had a no cd patch on it. They are all his brothers files of his brothers cd that he bout from EB Games 2 years ago! Goodness sakes, just read man!

"HE" as in "you"? I find it interesting that someone who literally just signed up knows all about the current situation.

Let me be 100% clear. Whether it was actually pirated or not that's what it looks like to visitors. Since we would never know which visitors might be whistle blowers, we ban on site and don't look back to protect the site. Honest mistake or not we're now held responsible for punishing users. The ban sticks, and it's permanent. End.Of.Discussion.

Msh viewer Is a Fantastic Program that almost Everyone uses to View the Models and textures right?
Well, tell me what you think of this:
An Animation Viewer :mrgreen:
I think this could be very useful for people who want to figure out what each anim File looks like without Having to Munge a custom animation set... changing the odfs.. Munging it...You know. I would not know how to make this program, But I'm just getting the idea out there. 8)

That is a nice idea , i create new anims ... but don t know how to create a program , i hope someone with programing skill will do one (like repsharpshooter , skip , zerted ...)

That's actually a brilliant idea. It can also help machinima makers too if there was a feature to change the background color behind the unit/model as well - just like Modview for Jedi Outcast/Academy. A cool feature would be to support both stock animations AND custom ones, to be honest. And that'd be one thing it'd have over Modview. Question is, is someone even up to making it?

So i have realy often realy good ideas. My problem i'm not so well in moding and i have not much time at the moment. But it would be bad if no one could make the projekt. i would answere question if you don't know what i mean.

A lot of Death Star-based maps already exist, but that's still a good idea.
More info about the teams, the CP, the assets to use...?
Sure, the campaign mode need a lot of lua scripting, but it's always possible to make.

the assets are the normal SWBFII and the BFx/DT sides. maybe if you know some other good sides you can add them, too. CPs i allready thinking about. because they will be very much.

The other Problem is the minimap.
it would be great if it change. and before you spawn you can switsch between the minimaps would this be possible??
if not is a 3D minimap possible??

Important for the XL and conquest mod is:
conquest:
nothing with space:
you cannot entry in a cannony not in the smalone and not in teh big one.
the Hangardoors are closed and the lift for the ships won't work. but the door to space in the waste press will work.

XL:
there will be rebelships / republikships (Venator class) in space you can spawn on the deathstar or at the commandoships. And you can fire with the big cannon at the small ships :mrgreen:


if i know were the CPs shout be i will upload new pics.

For the campaing i thought something like the rebelops mission by maveritchel.
the theme will be the rescue of princess leia you start in the Melinium Falk.

you come in the deathstar.
you have to open the door to the hiding place by shooting on it and then repair it with the fusions cutter.

this will be the begining
