How do I create a new hero

First of all I'm very new with modding and I'm curretly making a new map.
I'd like to create a new Hero (or solider class).
I read the "creating a jedi" document , but i got stuck after creating empty
files for ODF , REQ and those things.
But after that i don't know what to do cause I don't understand what the document says.
Please help!

make some plans for it and see if anyone is interested in the idea and does the job with you 
That's the only thing I can say; nothing more sohuld be said: If you really feel for this map make someone make it with you where THEY do the modding part and you plan etc.
The last thing we wants to hear is people saying something stupid
