actually just played star wars battlefront online and had a blast tun of fun.

On the off change you'll still around, yes. Use v1.3's Fake Console to mess around with the AI goals. If you want to make those changes constant, create a custom user script to run the commands on whichever maps you want automatically.

If you really wanted the AI to ignore you you could move yourself onto team 0 or 3 and set everyone neutral to it.

Is there an AI goal to make the player a higher priority? I would be interested in this too.

Sort of. You can use the Destroy goal with the player as the target, but units allotted to that goal will only target the player and they will also not pursue Conquest objectives - but with the right goal weight it should successfully create the illusion of the player being a higher-priority target.

and what about the other way around? lower priority?

Read the AI goals documentation or search on the forums for the info about goals. Basically there's a max number of goals and each goal has a weight. The more weight given to a goal the more AI bots are perusing that goal. All the weights are normalized to 100, so two goals of 10 and 10 are the same as two goals of 983432 and 983432 because both numbers are equal to each other. It's the difference between the weights that matters.

However for SP the game also has the AI target you a little more because if it didn't then the game would probably get boring too quickly. Using the Fake Console you could clear out all the goals then add new ones. Something like Follow will cause the AI to run at that person, so if you want everyone after you then use that. There isn't an avoid, but if they're busying doing other things they'll have less time for you.
