Han Solo plays pretty similarly to his stock counterpart. His fusion cutter is significantly more effective than infantry fusion cutters, and of course he has haywire grenades too, for extra vehicle-hacking ability. Solo's Luck replaces his stock buff - it's a short five-second buff to any allies nearby that restores their health and makes them immune to blasterfire.
what is this for a light around solo
and what is mean with Solo's Luck??

I would assume the light is Solo's luck; which is exactly what it says it is, if you would bother reading before asking questions.

With the announcment of Tfu2. Does this mean this mod gets a re-name? or is put on hold? Or still going strong
Maveritchell wrote:Fiodis wrote:Regardless, a flimsy yellow jacket is not something I'd see him wear in battle, unless he were taken by surprise while wearing it.
It's a leather jacket (or at least some kind of heavy jacket - you can tell by the way it creases, if you've ever worn a bomber jacket or something similar), and it makes as much or more sense than most of the "armor" (or lack thereof) many others wear (see Han to the left in the picture). I personally really like the look of that particular outfit, and it's actually used a lot in the comics, for being a one-scene costume.
Id love to see some of those rebels in the background with those staffs. That would be wicked

Why would it get either a new name or be put on hold? While the mod has definitely used some material from the Force Unleashed, it's never been only about that game (which is in fact why it was renamed to "Dark Times" anyway).
But in any case, I'm glad someone posted that wasn't me as I've been sitting on a couple different updates until someone posted. As I said in the last post, the GCW era isn't just all-Jedi. Since we have some smugglers available as heroes for the Rebellion, it's only fair that we have some bounty hunters available for the Empire. Here are two of them:
Hero: Boba Fett
Weapons: EE-3 carbine, Wrist flamethower, Wrist rockets (lock-on), Concussion Grenades
Boba Fett here will play very similarly to the stock Boba Fett, with small changes. His flamethrower is more powerful but can't be fired for as long, while his wrist rockets will lock on and consequently are much more useful at a distance. He also carries concussion grenades, which knock down anyone in the nearby area.
Hero Support: Incinerator Trooper
Weapons: EF-11 Flame Projector, EF-11 Flame Projector (Fireball), Incendiary Detonators
The Incinerator Trooper design is based on the Force Unleashed trooper of the same name, although it's been updated for the GCW (with the removal of armor markings and addition of a fuel-pack). They carry heavily-modified E-11 flamethrowers that run off the fuel stored in their back. While they're one of the heaviest-hitting hero support units, they also have the least health, to represent the fact that they're carrying around a fuel-pack-shaped bulls-eye on their backs.
Hero: Dengar
Weapons: Dengar's Blaster Carbine, Dengar's Modified Riot Gun, Thermal Detonator
Dengar is another bounty hunter, although he is often hired specifically as an assassin for the Empire. He carries a heavily-rifled blaster carbine, which fires shots more quickly and accurately than most others. His modified riot gun is a crowd-control weapon used to knock enemies over at medium-to-short range. Dengar's hero support is shared with Mara Jade - the Storm Commando.

How far does the fireball go? I'm guessing that's his long range attack.
Nice update, I like Dengar.

I'm guessing its a stun setting (the riot gun).
Anyway, I love the EF-11, its an awesome looking model.

While I can't speak for Mav, of course, it always seemed to me that his goal wasn't to recreate TFU's plot, but make an era mod based on the game's characters.
At any rate, the stun blast's (if that's what it is) rings seem perhaps a bit too far out of line - though of course the only time I ever saw a stun blast was in EP4.

Hmm, maybe in death the incinerator trooper can have a chance to explode
In the .odf of droids, there are percentages on whether it blows up or just clanks down
Maybe you can do it with the incinerator trooper, half a chance to blow up in flames, half a chance to boringly just drop cold.
But awesome update man
*ponders on making a proper dengar gun*

Lol not into pieces, just, fireball, maybe his body dissapears, or the msh converts to a charred corpse kinda thing, or its a bit more T-rated, just a fireball, and all thats left is the default dead corpse msh
but c'mon, is a little graphic and fun so hard to take? fuhaha

haha, yeah. It would be pretty cool. They exploded into fireballs in TFU too, if you noticed.

Great update. So TFU2 was announced? awesome! (despite the fact that, if they make it for PC, I'll never run it on my comp, it is rather low end)
