I was playing BF2142 a moment ago, and I got pretty annoyed I could'nt find a server where the teamwork was really working. So I started thinking about the [GT]-clan, why don't we ever play BF2142? I mean, we're 15 people on the ER BF2142-roster (and I guess we're a few more here that play too), so I think we should get playing a bit more...

Was'nt it a Conquest week rather recently? Why did we miss that?

Now, I won't demand anyone to ruin their "real lifes" (I'd never do that, I have a life too, right?) just to get playing more, but it would be really fun if we would play together more...

Oh, and I got another idea, how about a Jedi Academy-roster on ER? Or are we enough people playing that?

I can think of about 4 people I know alone, that play Jedi Academy.

Yes, there was a conquest week not long ago, we were signed up too, but I don't think anyone competed.

I don't think so...

There were like no matches at all. The CW b4, there were 6 matches, 2 I was in. I think CW for 2142 is dieing unless there is more activity in it.

I see... We gotta lead an upswing for the conquest week... Or just get together and play anyway.

Sounds good to me.
The bigest problem playing amungst ourselfs is, its hard to find a large group that all have the same maps.
We could play the shipped one, but most people are bored with them.
The Conversion pack will help alot with that though.

If only Cmdr_Fusion could get his new computer *tic* *toc*
There would be much more intra-GT playing.

It's not that hard, go to "Multiplayer" then "Create" and make a map list, and I know many of you have faster Internet than I have

I can only support 4 players... then theres me... so 3.
Unless I go dedicated.
And my internet is comparitivly slow.

One down, who's next?

Go to Options, Online section. Switch the value of the...numbers...with the thing (kbps?) on that dropdown menu to one or two lower in the list, that changes how many people you can have on a server.

I have a pretty good computer, so when the next conversion pack comes out I could try to host a GT sever

JKA stinks... MB2 mod for it is much better

This SWBF2-server thingy sounds nice... Though, that game does not want to work for me, and I wanna play BF2142 with some people I "know"

It just seems no one will join unless you're there.

You know why people joined my servers? Because I bugged the hellz out of them first!

Well there was that...
But still Its just not the same.

Plus popularity in BF2 has gone way down since you left.

I think it's starting to come back a little bit though.

Hopefully people will get bored of shipped maps sooner or later and some servers running Conversion Pack 2.0 and (hopefully ) Destiny of the Galaxy will appear.
