Saw it all yesterday. No way I'm paying 15$ for 5 maps (2 of which I could go play in COD4 >.<). I could get an awesome arcade game for 15$.

Activision sure isn't impressing me all that much in their fight against EA.....

Only one of the maps doesn't look worse than EVERY stock map in the game. Of course, that map looks like the best of them all. But 1 good map for 15 bucks? No thanks.

Just rented MW2 for a big game night on Saturday. Finally I can give it a good run through. Still - 15 bucks for any DLC is beyond awful. If MW2 is not beyond epic I don't think I'll buy it, but 15 bucks on top of that is nuts.

It might be the video, but the maps all looks kinda cheesy, and second rate. I'd expect maps like that from WarRock.

I don't see why I should pay $6 for something that I should have gotten in the first place. :|

To me, 15$ for DLC is absolutely insane. Unless it comes with new singleplayer content as well, and we get dedicated servers etc. I'm not paying 15$ for it. If I HAD to spend 15$ on some gaming content I would add 5 bucks, take it and spend it on the Jedi Knight games I don't already have.

I played through about four missions in singleplayer last night. I'm really not impressed with this game - waaaay over hyped. Playing multiplayer tonight - they say you can do splitscreen + system link. We'll see if that's any good.

*EDIT*

Okay, multiplayer was a HUUUUUGE disappointment. It's fun, but LAN gameplay didn't allow for split screen. If your game is "epic" that should be a no brainer. You have splitscreen, you have LAN. They should ALWAYS go hand-in-hand. But no. So we put in a game that has always served us well for 8-player, 2 machine gameplay -- Halo 3.

Yeah, this game just went from a possible buy to an absolute never buy. If I can't play the admittedly awesome multiplayer at a game night with my friends I have zero interest. Way to go Infinity Ward/Activision. You left an easy-to-implement network type out for no obvious reason.

Lame.

Sorry -- multiplayer was fun, but you can tell there wasn't much love put into this game.

If I ever get the second Modern Warfare, I doubt I'll pay $15 for barely more stuff. $75 for a game is too much, in my opinion.

Crash and overgrown (or whatever the other CoD 4 remake was called) were actually really nice, but the new maps sucked. Worth $15? No. Should have been a free DLC to "stimulate" video game players into reverting or moving to MW2.

DLC means Downloadable Content. So, in other words, you pay for it online and download it online. Maaaaaaybe you can get it instores, though. I could be wrong.

The only game series that I've seen sell DLC in stores was the Halo series, an actual game disc for the Halo 2 DLC and all of the Halo 3 maps in ODST.

It should have some marketplace menu or something like that, just look there.

Fallout 3 sold the DLC in two packs on discs. The last one you had to buy the Game of the Year edition or download it, but the others were available in any gaming store.
