XSI Problem: Vertices

I got a problem in XSI for some reason. Sometimes I select a vertex (Only 1) and then another vertex moves with the vertex I chose even tho it's unselected. For example, if I move my vertex up, the other one moves up also. This makes it a LOT harder to model, so it'd be cool if someone knew how to fix it.

that other vertice, is that a duplication of your model?
That's a pretty common technique to just make half the work where you simply duplicate it on the middle and just work on one of them because the other is an Instance or a Clone (depending on your application, those 2 terms are the most common). Did you do this? or do you have a pic possibly?

(got a few problems once in a while with selecting faces somewhere and it then selects random faces other places on the surface -_-)

I don't have a pic, but it wasn't a clone. I was still working on 1/2 the body, but hadn't duplicated yet. It was just 1 cylinder but it didn't work :|

Anyways Qdin, about the random polygon selection thing turn off anti-aliasing or make it application controlled.

Are you accidently selecting two vertices at a time? Sometimes I get vertices so close that they look like one vertice and I accidently select both :P

Hope that answers the question.

redo the model :P that fixes everything

No it doesn't. Not with this at least.

You may have symmetry turned on - it's a toggle button down near the numerical coordinate boxes.

Thanks AceMastermind and t551t551, that was it.

I KNEW it was something about that... because it changed depending on the settings sometimes xD

now the big question is.. how do I fix it for the best for me? O.O
