Felucia: Heart of Darkness (Beta)

So, it keeps crashing after a few seconds for me. I just want to see if it is only me or if it something else. This map will be included in the map pack to come.
I will post an error log tonight as well.

Really? You actually think someone's going to download a big ol' hunking map file JUST to make sure it crashes?

I have a better idea, post an error log, make a topic, and GT will walk you through your problem,

I would highly doubt that it's an error that only happens with your computer.

read the thing above. And I do not EXPECT anybody to do anything. I just wouldn't mind a little feedback. I've been trying to fix this for the past 2 days so I don't have much to offer.
Also, its not my computer, its just I improperly installed a side mod that basically wiped out the original sides and plopped in its own (haven't fixed it yet)
Double posting, let alone triple posting, is against the RULES. You had no reason to post your error log in three seperate parts; only a certain amount of characters can used between Code tags, so don't use them, and you didn't need to post the commonly occuring errors. -Staff

I downloaded it.
Here's what happened:
The map loaded fine, and I was able to spawn and run around. (Great sky, needs a minimap though.) However, after about 20 seconds, the map crashed to desktop. You might have a sides/weapon error, but I can't be sure.

If it crashes randomly, about 20 seconds in, 95% chance it is a weapon error, check your ODFs.

It isn't my sides folder (nothing in there), but I
did use the odfs and mshs required for the republic gunship. It isn't loaded in the game though...I'm going to clean and check again after I remove the gunship stuff.

In my experience, a ctd that occurs after around 20seconds is usually:
A: Some sort of memory pool not set high enough.
B: Some sort of weapon that isn't commonly used by the ai. Example: Auto turrets aren't usually used for about 30 seconds, then the ai start deploying them, if the auto turret is messed up, the map won't crash until the ai ( or player ) use the auto turret. Thus, after about 20 seconds, the ai drops a bugged auto turret crashing the map. These can be real tricky bugs.

Ok, so I tried again. Walking around, ok, nice, fine, uh-huh, good, nice.
*KA-CHUNK*
Diet Dr. Pepper. Crash. Ka-boom.
That Ka-Chunk is the sound of a deployed turret. I believe you are correct. Now, how would I fix this kind sir? I've never seen this problem before.

Ohhh K, did you test it more than once to make sure that was the problem?
If so, I don't know, check the ODFs, check the lua.
The first thing you should do is remove anyone from the lua that has an auto turret, no dice?
Try taking the vehicles out of the lua, they also make a KACHUNK sound when spawning, still nothing?
Then remove turrets, from the lua, they make the same sound when you enter one.
If it isn't one of these three I'd be suprised, once you have pinpointed your problem, fix it, clean, munge and test.

I removed foliage and it worked...except not it sucks because I have no foliage...in a forest.

No, its fixed. Thanks though. It was just a bad file the prp was loading.
