ingame effects

I'm trying to put in objects with effects attached to them into the world (in ZE) but the effects never show up ingame (with shipped objects and custom). does some1 no how to fix this?

What's the effect? If it's a Battlefront 1 effect, it's probably because you're missing the textures it calls for (the common effect textures changed from SWBF1 to SWBF2), and your computer doesn't try and render missing textures.

its swbf2. at first i tried the mus1_fx_largeexplosion.odf but that didn't work so i made a custom object and attached the lavaburst_xl effect to it (i also made a copy of the odf for it, named it something else, and attached a custom effect to that one) but neither of them worked.

I had the same exact problem on the map I'm working on now. Create an effects folder in your Data_ABC\worlds\ABC folder named 'effects' and copy all of the files from assets\worlds\MUS\effects into your new effects folder. No need for custom objects.

yea i just saw that in another topic a little while after second post. and also, i wanted a custom object anyway. im munging rite now so i'll see if it worked.
